Rose became interested in accounting after working in the family business. She earned a B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College, and has over twelve years experience in full-charge bookkeeping. She has worked for various businesses include retail, food manufacturing, professional services, and nonprofits.

Through working in various businesses, she realized that she is most interested in working for nonprofits. She finds self-satisfaction from working with noble organizations that strive towards the improvement of society.
