Teresa’s experience in economic and community development and investing in social enterprises was developed during her tenure in government as a Vice President at the New York City Economic Development Corporation and as a Director for the Nonprofit Finance Fund, a leading national CDFI.

With an expertise in public-private partnerships, Teresa has raised and closed tens of millions of dollars for urban economic development projects. She has proven track record in business development, raising funds from public and private institutions and managing small teams to achieve ambitious results. She is an active community member and has served on various advisory boards and her local community board.

Teresa is a graduate of Vassar College and NYU’s Robert F. Wagner School for Public Service. She also has a certificate in management from Columbia Business School’s Institute for Nonprofit Management. When not pursing social change, Teresa enjoys quilting and is teaching herself to play the banjo.
